if i swap my LUNA to a stable coin lets say UST, then it is essentially selling my LUNA to UST, and with that, basically I dont have to move my LUNA back to an exchange to sell it, right?

Hi guys got a quick question, I just purchased a Ledger Nano X and want to transfer my Luna wallet onto the device. I am having trouble trying to figure this out, I have heard that I have to set up a new wallet in the ledger unstake my coins and then send across to the ledger. Any thoughts on this , i'm not sure.
